General
What is Party Dresses Australia?
Party Dresses Australia is an online marketplace connecting Australian women with the best party dress brands. We curate and promote dress brands to our audience of ready-to-buy shoppers, driving qualified traffic directly to our brand partners.
Who runs Party Dresses Australia?
Party Dresses Australia is operated by May Chidiac, an Australian sole trader (ABN: 15 167 159 592) based in Sydney, NSW. May personally reviews every brand application and manages all partnerships.
What types of brands do you work with?
We work exclusively with Australian dress brands across all categories — cocktail dresses, formal gowns, mini dresses, midi dresses, maxi dresses, bridesmaid dresses, sequin and glitter styles, and ball gowns. Your brand must ship to Australian customers.
Partnership & Commission
How much does it cost to join?
Nothing upfront. Party Dresses Australia operates on a 100% commission-based model. There are no joining fees, no monthly fees and no lock-in contracts. You only pay when we successfully drive a sale to your website.
What is the commission rate?
Commission is a flat 20% of the net sale value (excluding GST and shipping). The rate is confirmed in your Brand Partnership Agreement before going live.
When and how do I pay commission?
We issue a tax invoice on or around the 1st of each month covering all verified sales from the previous calendar month. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date via direct bank transfer (EFT) to our Australian bank account.
What counts as a verified sale?
A verified sale is a completed order on your website that is attributed to Party Dresses Australia through our affiliate tracking — via a unique tracking link and/or an exclusive coupon code. Cancelled, refunded or disputed orders are excluded.
Is there a minimum sales amount before I get invoiced?
No minimum. We invoice for all verified sales each month, regardless of the amount. If no sales were generated in a given month, no invoice will be issued.
Tracking & Technology
How are sales tracked?
We use a combination of methods for accurate attribution: unique affiliate tracking links that record clicks from our site to yours, exclusive coupon codes that can be entered at checkout, and optional pixel tracking for real-time sale confirmation. We are in the process of partnering with an established affiliate network, and the exact set-up is confirmed with each brand during onboarding.
What are the exclusive coupon codes?
Each brand partner can be issued exclusive coupon codes unique to your brand, which customers enter at checkout on your website. This helps double-verify commissions and reduce the chance of disputes.
What is pixel tracking and do I need it?
A tracking pixel is a small piece of code installed on your website that records when a purchase is completed, giving real-time sale data. It is optional but recommended. You can install it yourself or we can guide you through it.
Can I see my sales data?
Yes. You will receive a monthly commission report detailing all tracked sales, order values and commission amounts. For brands using pixel tracking, real-time sales data is available on request.
Getting Started
How do I apply to become a brand partner?
Simply fill in the Brand Partnership Application form on our homepage. May personally reviews every application and will be in touch within 48 hours to discuss your brand and confirm the partnership details.
What happens after I apply?
After you apply, May will contact you to discuss your brand and commission rate. Once agreed, you’ll receive a Brand Partnership Agreement to sign. After signing, your brand will be listed on partydresses.com.au with your tracking links and coupon codes set up and ready to go.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically 2–5 business days from application to going live, depending on how quickly the agreement is signed and brand assets (logo, product images, descriptions) are provided.
Can I cancel the partnership?
Yes. Either party can terminate the partnership with 30 days written notice. There are no cancellation fees. Any outstanding commission from sales already made remains payable after termination.
