Seller Agreement
Effective 24 August 2026
This applies whenever you list an item for sale on X Party Dresses. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
What you promise us
- You own the item and have the right to sell it.
- Your listing is honest and accurate, the photos are of the actual item, and the condition, size and any flaws are described truthfully.
- The item is clean and ready to wear, and is genuine (not counterfeit).
Photo & listing standards
Photos must be genuine, unedited-in-substance photos of the actual item you’re selling, taken by you, not stock images, catalogue photos, or images taken from another website. Photos and descriptions must not contain nudity, offensive material, contact details, or attempts to sell items outside the platform. We may remove listings that don’t meet these standards.
You run the sale
X Party Dresses lists your item and handles the payment. You handle everything else: answering buyer questions, packaging the item, and posting it promptly, within 3 business days of being notified of a sale, with tracking wherever possible. The postage method and cost are as shown in your listing. If you post internationally, you are responsible for completing any customs declarations accurately.
Our commission
When your item sells, XPD keeps a commission of 20% of the sale price. There are no listing fees, no minimum, and no monthly charges. Commission is only ever charged when an item actually sells.
How and when you get paid
- The buyer pays the full price (plus postage) to XPD via PayPal.
- XPD pays your share, the sale price minus our commission, to the PayPal email you provide. If you do not have a PayPal account, we can arrange a bank transfer instead.
- We release your payout after the buyer confirms they’ve received the item, or 3 days after tracked delivery if no problem has been raised, whichever comes first. This short hold protects both you and the buyer.
- If a buyer opens a dispute, or the item is claimed to be not as described, we may hold your payout until the matter is resolved, and you agree to cooperate in good faith.
Chargebacks
If a buyer disputes the payment with PayPal or their card issuer after you’ve already been paid, and the dispute is upheld, you agree that the paid-out amount may be deducted from a future payout or otherwise recovered from you. We’ll let you know if this happens and why.
Cancellations & problems
If you can no longer supply an item (for example it sold elsewhere), tell us immediately so we can cancel and refund the buyer. Repeatedly failing to ship or misdescribing items may lead to removal from the platform.
Prohibited items
You must not list counterfeit goods, stolen goods, damaged items presented as good condition, or anything unlawful. We may remove any listing that breaches this.
Tax
You are responsible for your own tax obligations arising from your sales in your country, including any GST, VAT or equivalent that may apply where you live. XPD does not provide tax advice.
Indemnity
You agree to compensate XPD for any claim, loss or cost arising from an item you listed or sold, or from your breach of this agreement.
